A Food Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient production of pet food products.
Operate and monitor food processing and packaging machinery.
Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment.
Ensure products meet quality, weight, and packaging specifications.
Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety (WHS) procedures.
Complete production records and documentation accurately.
Work with maintenance, quality, and production teams to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Handle raw ingredients and finished products according to company procedures.
Experience in manufacturing, food processing, FMCG, or production environments is preferred.
Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow standard operating procedures.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, day shifts, or night shifts depending on the site.
Manufacturing facilities can be noisy and require PPE.
Some sites handle raw meat proteins, so employees must be comfortable working around raw pet food ingredients.
Roles often involve standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive tasks
